500 kV substation “Imereti” was under repair in agreement with the National Dispatch Center of JSC “Georgian State Electric System” from November 1 to November 25, 2022.
In the mentioned period, the repair works stipulated by the 2022 business plan of JSC “Sakrusenergo” were performed, including the works of restoring the temporary access roads to the masts and the disturbed gauge between the wires and the ground in the N339-N340 and N311-N312 malls of the power plant.
During the period of the repair of the former “Imereti” by the contractor company “New-Metal Georgia”, reconstruction works were performed in the section between N330-N340 masts (Р2 type N335; N336; N337 intermediate masts were replaced with angular У2к+5 masts) and between N328-N329 masts were replaced in Mal Damaged wires of all three phases.
The “A” type inspection body “Engineering Monitoring Group” supervised the reconstruction works at the 500 kV power plant “Imeret”.
The personnel of all operation-repair areas and transport service of JSC GE “Sakrusenergo” were mobilized for the repair works of the “Imereti” power plant.
As a result of the works carried out on the “Imereti” power plant, the reliability of the “Imereti” power plant has significantly increased, which is very important for the sustainable and safe functioning of the energy system in the coming winter.
