During the period of repair of 500 kV hydroelectric power station “Imereti” from September 13 to October 7, 2022, the works provided for in the 2022 business plan of JSC GE “Sakrusenergo” will be performed, including reconstruction works in anchorage N330-N340 of hydroelectric power station, which includes the existing Р2 type N335, N336 and replacement of N337 intermediate masts with У2К+5 type corner masts and replacement of damaged cables in N328-N329 anchorage within the framework of the rehabilitation of 500 kV power station “Imereti” provided for in the ten-year plan for 2022-2032 in all three phases.
The date of putting “Imereti” into repair has been agreed with the National Dispatch Center of JSC “Georgian State Electric System”.
In connection with the mentioned works, project and cost accounting documentations were prepared, which were examined by the National Bureau of Expertise named after Levan Samkharauli and the “A” type inspection body “Engineering Monitoring Group” LLC.
500 sq.m. “Imereti” N330-N340 anchorage works belong to the construction of objects of special importance, on which the order of the “Technical and Construction Supervision Agency” of the State Technical and Construction Supervision Agency has been issued – on the permission for the reconstruction works. The “A” type inspection body will supervise the reconstruction works in the “Imereti” N330-N340 anchorage.
Based on the time frame for the repair of 500 sq.m. “Imereti” and the volume of the repair work to be performed, we considered it appropriate to invite a contractor company to the work. On the basis of the conducted competition, “New Metal Georgia” Ltd. will perform the reconstruction and replacement of wires in the anchor bars N330-N340 and N328-N329 of the 500 kV power plant “Imereti”.
During the limited period of the 500 sq.m. “Imereti” being under repair, it is planned to mobilize to the site for the full scope of the reconstruction works in the anchorage N330-N340 to start the work from August 20 of this year. Until then, all the necessary materials that will be used to carry out the works have already been assembled at the temporary base for the production of works in the village of Sefareti.
The staff of JSC GES “Sakrusenergo” will perform the planned repair works related to the replacement of broken and dirty insulators, repair and replacement of damaged wires in loops and loops, replacement of de-energization and line armature. During the mentioned period, a survey of certain sections of the so-called “Imereti” will be carried out. If necessary, the works that will be necessary for the safe and reliable operation of the transmission line.
