Georgia in 2015, has become a country-chairman of the Energy Charter. December 3-4, 2015, under the chairmanship of Georgia receives participants of the annual international conference of the Energy Charter.
Today, 4 December, in Tbilisi – in the hotel “Radisson Blue Iveria”, was held on 26th ministerial meeting of the Energy Charter Conference. The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Dimitry Kumsishvili and the Secretary General of the Energy Charter Urban Rusnak and Georgian companies and foreign companies engaged in the energy business. Within the conference Tbilisi visited more than hundred high-ranking guests: the Ministers of Energy of member countries of the charter, international organizations and the private sector. Director General of JSC UES “Sakrusenergo” Romeo Mikautadze also took part in conference. In the conference hall was presented the stand JSC UES “Sakrusenergo.” Attendees had an opportunity to learn more about the activities of our company, also the participants of the conference were handed souvenirs.
At the conference discussed issues of transit of electricity and deepening of relations between the member countries of the Charter in the direction of investment and future prospects.
