Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze and Director General of JSC UES “Sakrusenergo” – Romeo Mikautadze visited rehabilitation works which are carried out on the 500 kV “Kartli-2”.
Rehabilitation of power lines began today and will be completed within one week. Transmission line connects the substation “Didi Zestaponi” and “Ksani 500.” Now days, repair works is carried out in those areas power lines that run across municipalities: Zestaponi Sachkhere, Gori and Kaspi.
As part of rehabilitation works will be replaced by 5300 insulators and line fittings, which in turn will increase the reliability of the power system and reduce the number of outages.
