There were no repair works conducted in the Georgian section in March.
In the Russian section there were conducted chopping works, particularly a section (5 spans-1,47 km) between towers of current line #589-594 was chopped. A shortening point of ice melting has been observed; On #210, 212, 215, 219, 221, 243, 248, 251, 252, 253, 254, 255, 259, 260, 262, 263, 296, 298, 300, 301, 302, 304, 305, 308, 309, 319, 320, 322, 323, 325 (30 towers) the intermediate towers fixing cables of the tower have been adjusted; On #251, 252, 253, 262, 288, 315, 305, 306, 308, 322 (10 towers) towers the ground connections of fixing cables have been repaired; The towers #217, 234, 388, 496а, 297, 711, 712, 713 (8 towers) located in the landslide danger areas have been observed.
Power transmission line “Imereti”
On March 16 during the 3 hour repair work of the current line the C phase loop damaged wiring of tower #144 and the A phase loop wirings of tower #340 have been repaired. The round-inspection of sections between towers #71-117, 130-175, 220-285 of current line has been conducted with the aim of defectiveness.
Power transmission line “Kartli-2”
The unplanned round-inspection of the whole length of current line (#1-475) has been conducted.

From March 20 to April 3 during 15 day repairs the following types of repair works were conducted:
The broken insulators on towers ##40, 42, 43, 51, 52, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 61, 62, 68, 86, 91, 100, 101, 102, 114, 116, 121, 122, 130, 131, 136, 137, 140, 141, 149, 152, 153, 156, 163, 164, 166, 186, 187, 188, 193, 239, 240 were changed – totally on 41 towers 243 broken insulators have been changed. On towers #115 and #116 B phase garlands have been changed, totally 48 insulators;
The china insulators were changed by vitreous insulators on ##179, 180, 181, 182, 186, 187, 188, 193, 202, 207, 208, 226 – totally on 12 angular towers 4968 insulators have been changed.
On tower #41 75 dirty insulators have been changed;
On tower #170 on all three phases the whole garlands have been changed, totally 75 insulators have been changed;
On the lightning protector cables vibration dampers have been mounted on towers ##16, 17, 19, 20, 40, 41, 42, 43, 52, 53, 55, 56, 57, 58, 62, 65, 86, 91, 100, 102, 114, 115, 116, 121, 127, 128, 130, 131, 136, 137, 141, 145, 158, 167, 168, 170, 171, 176, 178, 179, 180, 181, 182, 186, 188, 193, 202, 207, 208, 226, 243, 244 – totally on 52 towers 189 vibration dampers have been mounted.
Broken supports in spans have been changed in ##2-3, 32-33, 39-40, 40-41, 43-44, 50-51, 78-79, 79-80, 81-82, 106-107, 107-108, 112-113, 113-114, 118-119, 122-123, 153-154, 168(in loop), 168-169, 169-170, 178(in loop), 228-229, 231-232, 237-238 totally in 21 spans and 2 loops of tower 106 supports have been changed.
On towers #42, 43, 49, 51, 52, 53, 57, 58, 62, 65, 114, 116, 121, 122, 131, 164 (16 towers) in garlands of wiring holdinging the worn reinforcement has been changed.
On towers #61, 68, 74, 130, 139, 147, 158, 159, 160, 166, 167, 177, 178, 179, 180, 186, 202, 243, 244, 245 (20 towers) in holding garlands of loops the worn reinforcement has been changed.
On towers #37, 41, 42, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 57, 58, 59, 62, 86, 91, 100, 101, 109, 128, 131, 137, 145, 154, 176, 189, 191, 195, 196, 241, 242 (29 towers) in fixing garlands of lightning protection the worn reinforcement (cable holding boat, fixing unit, hook etc.) has been changed.
Protection couplings have been mounted in loops #2_6, 180_3, 202-1, 207_6, 208_2, 226_6, 239_1, 243_1 _ totally on 8 towers 26 couplings have been mounted.
On the lightning protection cable of tower #86 discharging horns have been mounted, on tower #156 a damaged strand of the lightning protection cable has been repaired but on tower #168 a patch was put on the loop wiring, on towers #35 and #159 deformed protection screens have been corrected, on towers #245 triactinal twisted but #56 and #58 the turned holding pressings have been corrected;
On towers #239 and #240 triactinal twists and equalizing screens have been mounted.
The roads leading to towers #181, 148-159, 164-167, 202, 207, 208 have been cleaned; roots of trees, bushes and thorns have been chopped;
Between the wiring and earth with the aim of norms of size earth has been cut by means of bulldozer in spans #45-46, #46-47, #47-48, #56-57, #60-61, #66-67, #111-112, #115-116, #118-119, #127-128, #129-130, #147-148, #155-156 (13 spans.);
Power transmission line “Mukhrani”
An observation has been conducted on the whole length of the current line. In the sections between towers #175-207 and 219-232 warning signs have been mounted and photographing of the towers have been carried out. On tower #168 with the aim of restoration of the current line the open wirings of loops have been connected.
