A brief overview of the works performed on the electric transmission lines of JSC “Sakrusenergo” in the month of June 2012

In the section of Georgia, after the accidental shutdown of the EGK, an extraordinary inspection was carried out in the sections between the towers #55-67, #79-85 and #90-100, the place of damage was not found (the probable cause of the shutdown was atmospheric emptying). A list of additional defects was made on the defects found in the mentioned malls during the extraordinary inspection. No. 88-90 Mali slipped.
Deforestation works were carried out in the Russian section, in particular, the trees of the EGK No. 34-35, No. 646-647, No. 647-649, No. 658-658a, No. 740-743 were felled. 24-№26 of Egkh malls would be arranged. Towers No. 217, No. 234, No. 388, No. 397, No. 496a, No. 711, No. 712, No. 713 were inspected in landslide-prone zones. After the emergency shutdown, extraordinary detours were carried out on the section between towers #167-#207, #217-#300, #396-#424.

For the purpose of defecting, a planned bypass of the section between the towers #20-220 of the railway station was carried out. On the mast of type №108 ПБ-4, the damaged mast retaining girdle was replaced. In the night hours of June 21, 22 and 24, during the period of putting the power plant into repair, the work of replacing broken insulators was performed on masts No. 78, 98, 108, 114, 128, 129, 172, 198, 213, in total 140 pieces of insulators were replaced.
In order to check for defects, a tour of the section between towers #220-262 was carried out.
In Mall No. 259-260, near the foundations of the towers, in the protection zone of the line, the ground cut by unauthorized persons for the purpose of extracting stone was found, which threatens the stability of the said towers.

172-174, 208-209, 212-214, 219-221, 225-226, 227-228 pages of the Egkh were slipped. On the night of June 2, during the shutdown period, porcelain insulators on both sides of phase B of mast #149 were replaced (105 pieces) and broken insulators on intermediate masts #375, 380 and 382.
Also, in the garland of phase B of mast No. 149, the regulating intermediate ring and the clamp have been changed. Masts No. 173, 174, 191 and 194 were equipped with missing angles and key-bolts, key-bolts were welded on the mentioned masts to prevent further theft.

205-208 and 223-224 trees of EKH were felled, the trees cut in №205-208 were processed, hauled and stored in the warehouse of Mtskheti Forestry Department.
A tour of the section between the masts of EGK No. 194-247 was conducted, the numbering of the masts in the said section was updated and photos of all the masts were taken.
On June 15 and 16, during the 2-day repair period of the EGK, the following works were performed: heavily soiled insulators were replaced in the atmospheric pollution zone on masts #14, 16, 17, 19, 20; The damaged wires of the loops of phases A and B of mast No. 188 were repaired; A total of 17 broken insulators were replaced on No. 2 corner mast; A repair clamp was placed on one wire near mast No. 74 and protective covers were installed on the wires; Fallen and deformed leveling screens were straightened and installed on mast #87; On phases A and C of mast No. 86, damaged wires were repaired and the leveling screen of phase A was straightened; A repair clamp was put on the damaged wire on the C phase of Mali No. 40-41 and the transformers were changed; A survey was conducted in the section between towers #179-217.

Loops were opened on mast No. 168 and placed on insulation from both sides.
Section No. 42-59 was inspected.

Section No. 27-32 of Egkh was inspected.

The inscriptions and numbering of all the masts of the EGC were restored; The areas around the masts #43-44 and #28, #40, #42 of the EGC were damaged.
