While the 500 kV power plant “Assureti” was under repair, the repair works stipulated in the 2022 business plan of JSC GE “Sakrusenergo” were carried out in full, in particular: an elevated inspection of certain sections of the power plant was performed, damaged wires were repaired in loops and mallets.
Defective relief horns and others were installed on the guardrails. Urgent necessary works were performed, which were discovered during the overhead inspection of the EKH, in particular, the phase “b” of the У2-type N256 corner mast, the “c” phase of the N245 (У2С2-type) mast and the “b” of the N242 (У2к+5-type) mast were replaced. And in the loops of the “C” phase, the worn nodes of the garlands were replaced.
Due to the volume of repair works, during the period of the repair of the former “Assureti”, the repair works were carried out by the personnel of the Khashuri SSU and the transport service together with the personnel of the Tbilisi SSU.
During the repair of the transmission line, Vakhtang Kikvadze, the manager of the operation and construction of the Eastern Georgia electric power lines, coordinated the work progress, Felix Janashia, the head of the labor safety service, supervised the safe production of the work by the staff.
As a result of the performed repair works, the reliability and stability of the transmission line increased significantly, which is very important for the successful passage of the upcoming autumn-winter period and for the uninterrupted supply of electricity to the population.
