„The Inguri hydroelectric power station“as the unique pattern of industrial architecture, given the status of a monument of cultural heritage

August 21, 2015 in the region of Samegrelo and Upper Svaneti in the territory “of the Inguri hydroelectric power station”, the Ministry of Energy of Georgia and the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia was held an event in which “the Inguri hydroelectric power station”, as the unique pattern of industrial architecture, given the status of a monument of cultural heritage .

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze, Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia Mikheil Giorgadze, members of the government and parliament of Georgia, representatives of the local municipality, the investment fund, the energy sector, international donor organizations and diplomatic corps, as well as the management of JSC UES “SakRusenergo.”
