{"id":31565,"date":"2025-10-23T16:30:53","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T12:30:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sakrusenergo.ge\/?post_type=news&#038;p=31565"},"modified":"2026-02-10T16:41:06","modified_gmt":"2026-02-10T12:41:06","slug":"silk-road-forum","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/sakrusenergo.ge\/en\/news\/silk-road-forum\/","title":{"rendered":"Silk Road Forum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mamuka Menagarishvili<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>the <strong>General Director of JSC SAKRUSENERGO<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>and the <strong>first Deputy General Director, Irakli Kenchiashvili<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>attended a panel discussion titled <strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong>Energy Crossroads: Choices for a Secure Future<\/strong><strong>\u201d<\/strong>, held within the framework of the <strong>Tbilisi Silk Road Forum<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking at the panel discussion, <strong>Inga Pkhaladze, Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>stated that the <strong>Government of Georgia actively supports and promotes both local and foreign investors by creating a favorable investment environment<\/strong>, which, in turn, contributes to the development of <strong>hydropower, solar energy, and other clean energy sources<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Deputy Minister reviewed the <strong>e<\/strong><strong>nergy policy of the Government of Georgia<\/strong> and emphasized the government\u2019s vision for the sector\u2019s development, including the strengthening of the country\u2019s <strong>transit function<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As noted by the Deputy Minister, with the support of the <strong>Asian Development Bank<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>Hydrogen Action Plan and Roadmap<\/strong> has been developed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In her speech, the Deputy Minister also highlighted the <strong>development of electricity transmission infrastructure<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>the <strong>modernization of transmission networks<\/strong>, the <strong>introduction of new technologies in the sector<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>and other key priorities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Alongside Inga Pkhaladze, the panel discussion featured <strong>Lazar Comanescu, Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC)<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>P\u00e9ter Szt\u00e1ray<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong><strong>State Secretary for Security Policy and Energy Security at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary<\/strong><strong>,<\/strong> and <strong>Elnur Soltanov, Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":31569,"template":"","class_list":["post-31565","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/sakrusenergo.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/31565","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/sakrusenergo.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/sakrusenergo.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/sakrusenergo.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/31569"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/sakrusenergo.ge\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=31565"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
