From August 1 to August 11 of this year and from August 19 to August 31, during the period of the repair of the EGK, the works of replacing broken insulators were carried out, in particular, they were replaced on masts: #2-9, #15-28, #61-6, in total 43 were replaced on 3 masts. A piece of insulator, also replaced a worn stub in the #2 mast loop. The areas around towers #54 and #55 were pruned and cleared of newly grown trees and plants. Mast #41, which had been stripped from the angle brackets, was restored.
On the Russian section, from August 1 to August 11 and from August 19 to August 31, during the repair period, insulators were replaced, in particular, they were changed on the masts: #5-20, #7-5, #17-5, #21-5, #34- 4pcs, #38-4pcs, #52-4pcs, #60-4pcs, #61-4pcs, #114-4pcs, #122-4pcs, #176-4pcs, #441 -6pcs, #463-5pcs, #465- 6pcs, #483-6pcs, #548-5pcs, #592-4pcs, #661-9pcs, #666-5pcs, #718-5pcs, #724-6pcs, #725-5pcs, #750-5pcs, #751- 4 units, #754-4 units, in total 142 insulators were changed on 26 masts. #102, 103, 104, 105, 109, 185, 212, 243, 262, 288, 296, 329, 343, 343, 347, 352, 356, 370, 372 (242 (24 mast) the birds’ nests were removed from the masts. Deforestation works were carried out, in particular, trees #437-438, 441-442, 443-444, 482-483, 485-486, 496-496а, 690-691 were felled, a total of 8.07 ha. Towers #217, 234, 388, 397, 496а, 608, 609, 643, 644, 711, 712, 713 located in landslide prone zones were inspected. The area around the ice cap melting point has been cleared. The section between the towers #423-465 of the railway station was inspected. #138, 139, 140, 141, 142а, 143а, 145а, 146а, 147а, 148а, 148б, 149а, 149б, 150, 151а, 152а, 152б, 153, 154, 155, 156, 157 158, 159, 160 , 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, 166, 167, 168, 169, 170, 171 (36 masts) warning posters were installed on the masts.

On August 10, during the 4-hour repair of the EGK, insulators were replaced, in particular, on the masts: #15-23, #68-20, #292-5 (in the loop), #299-4, a total of 52 insulators were replaced on 4 masts. . Also replaced worn stub on mast #68. Masts #61 and #74, which were torn from the anglers, were restored. Access roads to towers #228, 229, 230, 231, 232, 233, 234, 235, 236, 237, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243 were restored with a bulldozer. The bases of #228, 229, 230, 232, 233, 235 masts were cleared of annual trees and plants. #231-232 and #232-233 mallets were cleared of new growth. For the purpose of defecting, a tour of the section between the towers #220-389 of the railway station was carried out.
E.G.Kh. “Kartli-2”
#179-180, 192-193, 214-215 in the protection zone of the masts and around the #180, 196, 210, 211, 214 masts, newly grown trees and plants have sprouted. Additional grounding loops were arranged on the tension wires of the intermediate masts #391 and #409, and the failed grounding electrodes on the masts #395, 396, 401, 404, 406 were restored. The painting works of the masts of section 369÷409, which started in July, continued.

Mast #209, which had been robbed of its angular parts, was restored. The assembly of sections of #208a mast to be installed in order to restore the disturbed gauge between the cable and the ground in #208-209 Mal has begun.

From August 1st to August 2nd, the following works were performed during the 2-day repair period of EKH: broken insulators on mast #246 – 16 units were replaced, line armature was replaced on one side of mast #255, and deviators were additionally installed in the loops of mast #253.
