220 kV “Adjara” Transmission Line
The 220 kV “Adjara” transmission line interconnects the Batumi-220 substation with the Khopa substation (Turkey).
The section of the transmission line located within the territory of Georgia is 12.3 km long and comprises 50 transmission towers. The line was commissioned in 1979.
The transmission line has a maximum transmission capacity of 190 MW.
