As part of the Ten-Year Transmission Network Development Plan approved by the Government of Georgia, JSC Sakrusenergo completed the connection of the section between Towers No. 110 and No. 280 of the 500 kV “Mukhrani” transmission line to the Marneuli-500 substation in 2016.

The newly established transmission line, which interconnects the Ksani-500 and Marneuli-500 substations, was assigned the dispatch name “Asureti.”

The total length of the new transmission line is 56 km.
